Australia's legions of Parrottheads have gone simply wild for Jimmy Buffett and his return to Australia in January 2011. Announced earlier this month, tickets for the two Sydney Opera House shows, scheduled for Sunday 23rd & Monday 24th January, were swept up within minutes leaving fans nationwide empty handed. Due to this overwhelming demand, Chugg Entertainment today confirms with great delight that Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band will be playing a third and final show in Sydney on Australia Day, Wednesday 26th January, at the Hordern Pavilion.

What began with the groundswell of anticipation from just a rumour of Buffett's first visit back to Australia in over 20 years, quickly turned into an eruption of excitement when the two Opera House shows were finally announced. When the shows went on sale, hordes of fans clambered to get tickets however with limited capacities, thousands were left ticketless. Never one to disappoint, however, Buffett has agreed with pleasure to perform a very special Australia Day concert.

Australian Parrottheads, the time has come to don your best resort accoutrement and make yourself a frozen concoction, because Margaritaville is heading to our shores. If you missed out the first time, be sure to not miss out again on this momentous event.
